About Coterie Club Midland

Our History

"Coterie" means "Circle of Friends." A group of West Texans formed a social club in 1946. The circle of friends continues its vibrant tradition today.

Our Events

Each fall and spring Coterie Club hosts a fabulous dance with great live music, exquisite food and drink, and all in an elegant setting. The fall dance is cocktail attire or black tie optional and long dresses. The spring dance is more casual. All events are free to members and are held at the Petroleum Club of Midland, Texas.

About the Club

Coterie Club events are planned by an all volunteer board. Nominations for membership open in the spring of each year and are open to residents of both Midland and Odessa who have been nominated by a current member.
